Biography by AllMovie

American writer/actor Henry M. Johnson's credits are sketchy before 1929. Johnson is known to have appeared in the 1921 film Too Much Speed, and may have shown up in others. After 1930, his credits are well-documented: he spent most of his time on the Fox Studios writing staff, collaborating on such productions as the James Dunn-Sally Eilers starrer, Arizona to Broadway (1933) and Will Rogers' Handy Andy (1934). He also worked on Paramount's Virginia Judge (1935), and Grand National's Great Guy (1936), one of the studio's two James Cagney vehicles. Reportedly, Henry Johnson occasionally dabbled in directing.
