biography
Advertised by Universal in 1913 as the company's "Youngest Star Ever," brunette American silent screen actress Helene Rosson was at her best in outdoor melodramas such as The Trail of the Serpent (1915) and Terror of Twin Mountain (1915). Her popularity waned in the late 1910s and she spent the remainder of her 12-year career in poverty row Westerns opposite the likes of Yakima Canutt and Edmund Cobb. Rosson was the first wife of actor/director Ashton Dearholt.
