Operatic soprano Helen Jepson spent most of her career at New York's Metropolitan Opera, but in 1935, made a single attempt at establishing a film career with the 1935 box-office dud The Goldwyn Follies. Jepson died on September 16, 1997, after a long battle with cancer. She was 92.
