Songwriter, composer, record producer, music publisher, and playwright Harold Spina has worked extensively on radio and in feature films, writing such songs as "Would I Love You (Love You, Love You)" and "I Don't Wanna Be Kissed" and songs for stars ranging from Bob Hope to Guy Lombardo to Ozzie Nelson. His tunes were used in several musicals including Little Miss Broadway (1938) and in three Andy Hardy films. As a publisher, Spina founded Spina and Argyle Music. He also founded the Telefilm production studio. Spina was an important part of putting together a 1963 tribute for the American Guild of Authors and Composers in the Hollywood Bowl. The event was hosted by Jack Benny and featured some of Hollywood's best composers including Henry Mancini, Dimitri Tiomkin, and Alfred Newman. Spina died of congestive heart failure at the age of 91.
