Clean-cut, fresh-faced British actor Gregg Sulkin first bowed onscreen during his adolescent years playing Bernie Rubens, a Jewish boy on the cusp of manhood who finds his bar mitzvah overshadowed by all sorts of extenuating circumstances in Paul Weiland's gentle coming-of-age comedy-drama Sixty Six (2006). Sulkin played the role opposite screen giants Helena Bonham Carter and Stephen Rea and received critical laurels for his work.
