biography
A former stage actor who had appeared on Broadway opposite the legendary Richard Mansfield in The Devil's Disciple, tall, Canadian-born Gordon Sackville began his screen career with Hollywood's first film company, Nestor. Excelling in playing suave villains, Sackville later menaced serial queens Ruth Roland and Pauline Curley and starred in several Westerns opposite cowgirl Edythe Sterling. His promising career was cut tragically short by a fatal stroke.
