biography
A rather coarse villainess of low-budget silent Westerns, Gene Crosby was very busy in oaters produced independently by the mysterious William Mix (aka Dick Carter). Crosby can be seen today as a greedy society lady attempting to trap potentially rich Pete Morrison in The Better Man Wins (1922) and as a jealous Indian squaw in Dick Carter's Pioneers of the West (released 1927).
