biography
Screenwriter Frank Cavett won an Oscar in 1944 for co-writing the screenplay for Going My Way. He and a co-writer won again in 1952 with The Greatest Show on Earth. Cavett started out in 1929 as an assistant director. He began co-writing screenplays in 1939.
