biography
American actor Edward Woods primarily played supporting roles in films from the early '30s through the early '40s. He is best remembered for co-starring with James Cagney in Public Enemy (1931) and for his role in Dinner at Eight. After he retired from acting, Woods worked in the promotion department of 20th Century Fox in New York.
