With his chiseled, sharp features and distinctive raspy voice, American character actor Ed Peck was often cast as a policeman or a military man in feature films and television shows -- notably on the TV series Happy Days where he played police officer Kirk -- of the '60s through the early '80s. He made his debut on the afternoon television series Major Dell Conway of the Flying Tigers in the early '50s.
