California native Doug Davidson is perhaps best known for the role of P.I. Paul Williams on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless. The young actor joined the cast in 1978 and would stay with the series for over 30 years, in addition to other projects, like hosting the short-lived The New Price Is Right from 1994 to 1995.
