Donald Thorin is one of Hollywood's leading cinematographers of the '80s and '90s. Thorin has photographed a number of acclaimed films, including Officer and a Gentleman (1982), Purple Rain (1984), and The First Wives Club (1996). Born and raised in Couer d'Alene, ID, he began his career loading films at 20th Century Fox.
