Production designer Dennis Washington launched his film career as an art director on the trucker comedy Convoy (1978). Washington's subsequent credits encompass a broad spectrum of movies, ranging from John Huston's Prizzis Honor (1985) to The Fugitive (1993), Dante's Peak (1997), and Paulie (1998).
