A young-ish character actor in films from the early '20s, Cuyler Supplee usually played that B-Western cliché, the weakling brother/son/rival, and was at his best (or worst) as Robert Homan's unprincipled offspring, plotting against his father's ward while romancing her at the same time, in the 1926 serial Fighting With Buffalo Bill. Very visible at Universal in the late '20s, Supplee was reduced to walk-ons and extra work thereafter.
