biography
In his top hat, tails, and slicked-back black hair, entertainer Carlo Dapporto was called "the Charmer," by adoring Italian audiences during the late 1940s. During this time, Dapporto appeared in many variety reviews opposite Wanda Osiris. Later he worked on television and appeared in a few films, most notably Bevilacqua's 1988 film Tango Blu.
