biography
California native Buck Bucko and his brother Roy Bucko became fixtures in budget westerns, Buck already in the final days of silents, Roy from around 1931. In the sound era you could find the brothers playing ranch hands, members of the posse, cattle rustlers or townsmen in just about every "B"-western produced. Hangers-on in the film industry rather than actors in the established sense, the Buckos rarely received screen billing.
