Actor Lillo Brancato Jr. found his niche in acting early on, playing the young Calogero Anello in Robert De Niro's A Bronx Tale in 1993. Born in Colombia in 1976, Brancato was adopted by Italian-Amerian parents when he was only months old, and grew up in Yonkers, NY -- an upbringing that would create his sense of heritage and cultural identity. Noticed by a talent scout who thought he looked like a young DeNiro, Brancato fell into an acting career at 17, appearing in a number of films and TV shows, most notably playing Matthew Bevilaqua on The Sopranos. The actor has also struggled with the law and was arrested in 2005 on suspicion of second-degree murder of a police officer.
