biography
One of Hollywood's best equestriennes, brunette Betty Miles was elevated to leading lady status in nine Westerns at Monogram (1941-1944), most of them starring Tom Keene or old-timers Ken Maynard and Hoot Gibson. She also appeared in the Republic serial The Masked Marvel (1943) and did heroine duty at both Columbia and PRC, but her main metier was doubling for less limber actresses.
