biography
An influential but rarely seen pillar of the TV world, Ben Silverman co-founded Reveille production company in 2002, through which he executive produced Ugly Betty, The Office, and The Biggest Loser. In 2007, he was brought on as co-chairman of NBC Entertainment to help the network recover from a low period by forging new innovations in broadcast business strategy. His tenure lasted only two years, however, as Silverman left NBC in mid-2009 to form his own production company.
