biography
Tall, dark, and with an air of superiority, veteran stock company and vaudeville performer Arthur Morrison spent most of his 1914-1930 screen career in Westerns, appearing on both sides of the law. Among his better remembered films are two superior Tom Mix Westerns, Riders of the Purple Sage (1925), in which he played the ill-fated Frank Erne, and Tony Runs Wild (1926).
