biography
Starring in a series of 12 two-reel comedies in 1914, The Adventures of Andy, homely child actor Andy Clark at one point rivaled Yale Boss as the Edison company's favorite juvenile performer. Onscreen from at least 1912, Clark, like so many of his peers, saw his fortunes decline in the 1920s and he retired from acting in 1930. He reportedly worked as an assistant director well into the 1930s.
