Remastered from the original film to celebrate its 40th Anniversary, Apocalypse Now: Final Cut is a 183-minute version of the film with extra scenes that were cut from the 1979 version. The film tells the story of Benjamin Willard (Martin Sheen), an intelligence officer sent with his crew in an upriver mission through Vietnam to assassinate Colonel Walter Kurtz (Marlon Brando). Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and written by John Milius.
