As the students all begin to prepare their projects for presentation, high school student Zoe and her partner Stamatis find their creative sides stifled by pressing personal issues. Zoe isn't able to hold up her end of the project due to the fact that she's always busy scrambling to help out her fellow students, and Stamatis is stifled by his father's unrealistic expectations and the troubling reality that his parents are fighting more than ever before. When the first place winner proves nowhere to be found, Zoe's classmates single her out to be the recipient of the honor due to her constructive role in the completion of their projects. But Zoe doesn't feel worthy of such an award, and passes it on to Stamatis for his efforts in keeping his parents together.
