Those familiar with Lithuanian folk tales will understand and take delight in these three short vignettes that are based on three Lithuanian novels. Others may be impressed by the exotic, stylish ambiance of the photography and settings. Each of the stories concerns an exceptionally talented artist, one who has been figuratively struck by lightning. The first is a choreographer with a thing about birds in flight. He has a student, but the student becomes more talented and takes flight leaving his mentor to drunkenly try to put his life back together. In the second, a fellow wanting to commit suicide keeps falling asleep on train tracks. Much to his frustration, the engineers and conductors always stop the train and gently remove his slumbering body. They would love to let him on the train, but he has no ticket. In the final story, a female guide to a historical museum has sex with her beau while taking him on a guided tour of her workplace.
