Director Hajime Ejiki took over the infamous series with this fifth entry, a black comedy starring well-known transvestite performer Peter as a female doctor who conducts bizarre experiments on his patients. Peter's odd neo-Goth drag is somehow perfectly appropriate for the film's strange, mildly unnerving tone. The first installment to feature male victims as well as female, this sick romp also stars Naoto Takenaka (who went on to star in the prestigious 1994 film Rampo), Tamio Kageyama, and Yuji Nakamura.
