Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Though people of Korean origin have been living continuously in Japan for well over two centuries, they are still considered "foreign nationals" and must annually submit to alien registration routines imposed by the government. This has created, and continues to create, poignant and often tragic situations. In this tory, a Japanese boy has fallen in love with a "Korean" girl, and must battle the prejudices of those around him in order to sustain the relationship.
