Synopsis by Janiss Garza

With Youth's Endearing Charms, 14-year-old starlet Mary Miles Minter bade adieu to the Metro company and set up shop at American Films, where she went on to start in 25 consecutive pictures. Typically, Minter is cast as a mistreated orphan girl, Mary Wade by name. Here, Mary works for the Jenkins (Alfred Ferguson and Bessie Banks) for her keep. But they're cruel to her so she runs away to the city. She is arrested for begging, but good-hearted Harry Disbrow (Wallace MacDonald) gets her out of jail and convinces his parents (Harry Von Meter and Gertrude le Brandt) to hire her as a maid. The Disbrows have a ball the next evening and Mary, dressed in a gown she has found in a closet, crashes the party. Harry passes her off as a niece to avoid long explanations. This ruse is kept up until one day Mary comes to the aid of Mr. Disbrow. He is fighting it out with George Horton (Harry Clark), who has stolen securities from his company. The documents fall to the floor and Mary bravely snatches them up. Harry then realizes how much he loves her and proposes. The usual reward for this Little Miss Fixit behavior is a happy and prosperous marriage, and the producers of Youth's Endearing Charms did not disappoint Minter's millions of fans.
