Jim Manning (Jimmy Morrison) is a country boy who travels to the big city to seek his fortune in this moral melodrama. Low on money, he falls in with a gang of smugglers led by Tug Wilson (Mitchell Lewis). Jim falls in love with gun moll Milly Avory (Carmel Myers), but his country sweetheart Mary (Pauline Starke) arrives to repeal the romance. Jim tries to leave the gang but soon learns the only way he is allowed to exit will be in a coffin. Edward Kennedy also stars in this routine crime story.
