Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Clara Kimball Young suffers and suffers as only she could in the five-reel World melodrama The Yellow Passport. The story is set in Czarist Russia, where a series of Nihilistic insurrections has goaded the secret police into drastic action. One of the more reprehensible "measures taken" is the persecution and massacre of thousands of Russian Jews, who have been marked for ill treatment by the dreaded yellow passport. Among the intended victims is heroine Sonia Sokoloff (Young), an aspiring actress. At one point, Sonia is promised that she will be spared in return for sexual favors. But justice eventually triumphs, in a simplistic manner which suggests that anti-Semitism has been forever wiped out in Russia and its environs.
