Synopsis by Mark Deming
One of the most influential British rock bands of the '60s, the Yardbirds bridged the gap between R&B, British beat, and psychedelia over the course of their career and served as a launching point for the careers of three of the U.K.'s most celebrated guitarists -- Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. The Yardbirds is a documentary on the group's rise and fall, featuring interviews with many of the band members and rare clips from live concerts and television appearances. Songs include "I'm a Man," "Train Kept a 'Rollin'," "For Your Love," "Stroll On," "Shapes of Things," "Happenings Ten Years Time Ago," "Dazed and Confused," and more.
