Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The first of Hal Roach's Our Gang comedies to be released through MGM, Yale vs. Harvard unfortunately no longer seems to exist. According to existing records, the plot revolved around a slapstick football game, with the Our Gang kids (Joe Cobb, Farina Hoskins, Jackie Condon, Harry Spear, Jean Darling, et al.) pitted against the infamous "Gas House" team. As for Pete the Pup, the beloved pooch participated in the game as a combination mascot and "coach." Yale vs. Harvard was originally released on September 24, 1927.
