Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Potentially good news has emanated from the Muir Island Mutant Research Center. One of the scientists claims that he has discovered a cure for mutants. Naturally, the X-Men make a beeline to the island, hoping to become normal human beings. Alas, news of the cure is not only premature, but downright misleading: The inventor intends to use his "wonder" elixir to enslave all mutants and trasnform them into his own evil slaves. "The Cure" first aired as the ninth episode of X-Men's 1992-93 season.
