Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Unnerved by several recent disasters, Wolverine quits the X-Men and heads to Japan, the only place that he has ever known true peace. Enjoying a reunion with his mentor Oku, Wolverine assists in the construction of a new temple. Unfortunately, his newfound tranquility is shattered by an attack from the Silver Samurai Bandits. Will Wolverine remain aloof from the trouble, or will the unexpected arrival of Jubilee force him into a "Magnificent Two" showdown with the villains? "The Lotus and the Steel" was the thirteenth episode of X-Men's 1995-96 season.
