Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Megalomanic mutant Apocalypse is back, and this time he needs mutant "vessel" (that is, someone's body) to escape the Astral Plane and return to wreak havoc on Earth. Also making an unwelcome encore appearance is the treacherous Fabian Cortez, now the leader of the Houds, who capture Beast and Jubilee in South America. As Beast is morphed into a monster, Jubilee is readied to become the vessel required by Apocalypse. "The Fifth Horseman" was originally broadcast as episode #10 of X-Men's 1996-97 season.
