In the second half of the two-part X-Men adventure "Savage Land, Strange Heart," Storm has unleashed the full force of her inner powers -- and she truly enjoys the rush! But there are consequences to her euphoria: Her unbridled strength has revitalized the deadly "stone spirit" Garokk. Now he threatens to increase his power by fusing with the volcanic forces of Savage Island. The X-Men, assisted by the Fall People, must put an end to Garokk's reign of terror. But this means that they must also do battle against their former comrade Storm, thereby setting the stage for one of the series' customary Crises of Loyalty. "Savage Land, Strange Heart" was originally broadcast during X-Men's 1994-95 season.
