Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The evil mutant-hater Gyrich has returned for another assault on the X-Men. This time, he attacks Xavier with a psychic-energy disrupter. Slowly dying, Xavier is powerless to stave off the inevitable; and for all their powers, even the X-Men cannot save their mentor. Taking advantage of this dreadful situation, Magneto mounts his long-awaited war to subjugate humankind. The episode denouement is a veritable "monster rally" of old friends and foes. Even if "Graduation Day" was not intended to be the final X-Men episode, it was certainly a worthy finale.
