Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Still wreaking havoc on the universe's time-space continuum, Apocalypse joins a stunning array of past, present and future X-Men villains. The villainous cartel successfully develops new breed of humans, as part of Apocalypse's apparent scheme to destroy the world. And are the kidnapped X-Men really who they appear to be? Xavier doesn't think so, and he also suspects that there's more to Apocalypse's "madness" than meets the eye. "Promise of Apocalypse" was the second chapter of X-Men's four-part saga "Beyond Good and Evil."
