Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The spotlight in this episode is on countrified mutant "absorber" Rogue --- and on Rouge's foster mother Mystique. Taking a journey into her own past, Rogue is forced to give up her allegiance to the X-Men and align herself with her earliest enemy, Ms. Marvel. The inevitable climactic battle takes place in an entirely different space-time continuum. "A Rogue's Tale" originally aired as the ninth episode of X-Men's second season.
