Synopsis by Sarah Ing
Wrestling becomes a forum for patriotism in the seventh episode of America's favorite pay-per-view. WWF Wrestlemania VII Superstars and Stripes forever promises a showdown between the golden haired Hulk Hogan and vilified Sgt. Slaughter. While the main draw is exciting enough, several side bouts prove equally as enthralling. The Ultimate Warrior takes on Randy Savage in what would become a classic pairing. Enduring bad boy Jake "The Snake" Roberts goes undercover in a blindfold match against Rick Martel. The Nasty Boys team up against the Hart Foundation in a championship battle. Throughout the main events there are many small yet fierce competitions, including Greg "The Hammer" Valentine versus Earthquake, and Demolition versus Tenryu and Kitao. This Gulf War Showdown has become a favorite of wrestling fans who have learned to either love it or hate it.
