Originally aired as a pay-per-view program, this video features five matches, the climax being the 30-man World Wrestling Federation extravaganza billed as "The Royal Rumble." Taped in New Orleans, this card features five matchups, ending with the infamous "Royal Rumble" match that starts with two wrestlers, with additional fighters jumping into the ring every two minutes. Last man standing becomes the number 12 contender at WrestleMania X-Seven. The other matches include: Edge & Christian vs. Dudley Boys (Tag Team Titles); Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit (IC Title-Ladder Match); Chyna vs. Ivory (Women's Title); and Triple H vs. Kurt Angle (WWF Title).
