Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Follow the remarkable lifespan of a wrestling organization that changed the face of sports entertainment in this hard-hitting documentary featuring such formidable brawlers as Sabu, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Rey Mysterio Jr. It was during ECW's remarkable run in the '90s that wrestling fans truly began to realize the extremes that these remarkable athletes would go to in order to win over an audience, and as the stakes grew increasingly high, the action in the ring became even more outrageous. If the WWF had an edge in terms of brand-name recognition, the ECW did virtually everything imaginable to gain an edge over the competition -- and though when all was said and done it may not have been quite enough, it was certainly a hell of a fun ride getting there.
