This program from The History Channel offers a retrospective of female aviators and the many challenges they faced in pursuing their careers. Highlighted are Katherine Wright, sibling of the Wright brothers and the first female to fly a plane, as well Harriet Quimby, the first woman to get a pilot's license. The show also examines the female aviators of World War II, and takes a look at the challenges faced by female pilots in the present day.
