Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Filmed in Denver, Colorado, by pioneering producer-director Otis B. Thayer, Wolves of the Street featured Edmund Cobb as a prospector whose financier father is murdered. Leaving Colorado for New York and Wall Street, James Trevlyn (Cobb) discovers that his father had been killed after attempting to break a Wall Street trust scheming to control the country's wheat supplies. About to be unmasked, the Wall Street wolves hire agitators to incite a strike at James' mine. Returning to Denver, our hero quells the unrest ably assisted by girlfriend Eleanor Fernwood (Vida Johnson) and his own lookalike, a tramp named Denver Devers whom Eleanor had found in a local mission. The Wall Street crooks are arrested and James and Eleanor are free to marry.
