Wiseguy begins a new story arc as undercover agent Vinnie Terranova (Ken Wahl) is dispatched to California to conduct an OCB investigation of hit man Roger Lococco (William Russ). What begins as a routine assignment deepens into something more profound when Roger invites Vinnie into the world of Mel and Susan Profitt (Kevin Spacey, Joan Severance), a brother-and-sister team of criminal masterminds. Before long, Vinnie is in up to his ears with the Profitts' international drug-and-munitions operation.
