With precious little help coming from his insurance company after the devastating events from the previous episode, Joe (Tim Daly) is willing to listen to Brian (Steven Weber), who comes up with a plan to extract more insurance money by feigning a serious personal injury. But by the time the insurance doctors show up to check out Joe's claims, he backs out of the scheme and persuades Brian to impersonate him. For a while, it looks as though Brian will be able to pull the scam off, but the sexy female investigator (Barbara Niven) assigned to the case isn't as gullible as she appears. The title of this episode is lifted from a 1966 Billy Wilder movie which boasted a remarkably similar plotline.
