Season four of Wings begins by resolving the cliffhanger that ended season three, with Joe (Tim Daly), Brian (Steven Weber), Helen (Crystal Bernard), and the rest of the airport gang bobbing around in a lifeboat after Joe had been forced to ditch his airplane at sea. Although the group is ultimately rescued and returned to Nantucket, the crisis is far from over; Joe has lost his plane, Helen has lost her cello, and the rest of the gang is at each other's throats. As the situation worsens, Joe makes the crucial decision to sell Sandpiper Air and relocate to the South Pacific -- but will Helen agree to go along for the ride?
