Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Billy Tang Hin-sing spins this Natural Born Killers-style ultra-violent road movie based on the true story of a wanted Mainland Chinese criminal. Wai (Francoise Yip Fong-wah) is a hooker from the Northwestern province of Xinjiang looking to make her fortune in the south of the country. Shing (Bowie Lam Bo-yee) is a troubled youth who becomes a security guard for a Hong Kong merchant. Their paths cross when a traffic accident results in the slaying of the son of a Public Security Bureau commander, making the two fugitives from Chinese law. Killing and robbing along the way, the couple -- in between rounds of noisy lovemaking -- lash out against the alienating nature of modern society and meaningless of the human condition. When they reach the southern city of Fushan, the couple gird themselves for the inevitable hail of bullets that will snuff their naïf little candles.
