Julian Eltinge was a famed female impersonator in his day, so even though this picture was a Western, it was a given that the star would don women's clothing at some juncture in the story. When a group of ranch owners discover that Horace Hammer (Gustave Von Seyffertitz) has swindled them, they ask Dick Tavish (Eltinge) and his cohort Red (James Neill) to get the money back. Since it will give him an opportunity to be near Irene Stuart (Florence Vidor), who he has adored from afar, Dick gladly takes the job. Hammer, however, laughs at Dick's threats, so he decides to riffle his safe. Hammer interrupts this endeavor and Dick is forced to flee (this is where Eltinge gets his opportunity to don woman's clothes). While thus attired, he emerges victorious over Hammer and wins Irene's hand. This film was directed by Cecil B. DeMille's older brother, William C. DeMille, and it has nothing to do with the 1934 British film of the same name.
