Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Johnny Wang Lung-wei directs this blood-and-guts gangland revenge thriller. The film opens with Ching-ching (Elizabeth Lee Mei-fung) -- the daughter a powerful mob boss for the Liu family -- returning from her honeymoon with her handsome new husband. When her father is murdered by the rival Yim group, her sister-in-law (Kara Hui Ying-hung) immediately suspects Ching-ching's spouse of being a Yim group mole. Soon afterwards, all of the Liu family's top men are killed while heading out to the Chinese Opera and stopping by at their mistress' house. The sister-in-law's suspicions are borne out when she follows her new in-law. Meanwhile, Chieko (Michiko Nishiwaki) -- a grieving Liu family widow -- takes samurai sword in hand and sets out to dispense some justice at the Yim group's headquarters. The foray is botched resulting in the death of Chieko and the crippling of the sister-in-law. Later, the eldest daughter to the dead crime don Nan (Tien Niu) makes peace with the Yim group while quietly plotting brutal, violent revenge.
