In this short subject, filmmaker Timo Katz uses advanced photographic techniques to document the numbing sameness of suburban architecture. In Whirr, what appears to be a tracking shot is comprised of images from a number of different homes which look strikingly similar in this context. Whirr was screened in competition at the 2007 South by Southwest Film Festival.
